Did a Zombie virus attack a metro train in northern China? No, that's not true. There was a marketing event in North Boulevard Station in Kelapa Gading in Indonesia's capital Jakarta to encourage young people to take public transport.
The claim appeared in a video (archived here) published by @subashchistopher007 on Tiktok, on June 25, 2023 under the title "Zombie Virus". It opened:
The Zombie virus has reached northern China.

This video went viral already in 2022, but it still spreads on social media even now. However, there were never Zombies, and the marketing event di not take place in China but in Indonesia.
The campaign Train to Apocalypse was organized from 5 August 2022 to 11 September 2022 by the local event company Pandora Box and by the public metro operator LRT Jakarta. The images of the videos on social media are from the marketing campaign. Lead Stories and others like AP, AFP and Reuters already debunked this claim.
